He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Frank Canfield and Catherine Murnaghan Canfield. He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Canfield Calomeni (Chris); his granddaughters, Casey Wilson (Brian) and Kayla Elise Browder (Coleman); his great grandchild Nina Wilson; his brother Robert F. Canfield (Alice Lee Walukas); and his nephews, Matthew P. Canfield (Lauren Marcus Canfield) and Taylor.
