He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Severance Jr.; his grandmother Mary Larkin; and his stepsibling Thomas Warner. He is survived by: his pet Gizmo; his parents, Joseph R. Severance Sr. (Teresa) and Barbara Severance; his sister Julie Severance (Steve); his sons, Matthew Severance Jr. (Krystal) and Timothy Severance (Tina); his grandchildren, Alizè, Matthew III, Ryliegh, Hailie, Dorthy, Harlow and Timothy Jr. Matt; and his stepsibling Lawerence Warner (Kylie).
