He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Cherico and Blanche Cherico; and his wife Peggy Cherico. He is survived by: his daughters, Chris Johnson (Rob) and Alyssa Stagliano (Mark); his grandchildren, Riley, Braeden, Griffin Johnson, Ellie, Brennan and Parker Stagliano; and his pets, Blondie and Luke.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 in his honor. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
