He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellen and Donald H. Sturm; and his brother Donald F. Sturm. He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Kevin Sturm and Maggie Ellithorpe; his sister Diane Myers (Michael); and his grandson Owen Ellithorpe.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius Church (23 Crumitie Rd, Albany, NY 12211). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Evangelical Protestant Church Cemetery.
