He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Schipano and Katherina Schipano (Bella); his wife Dorothy M. Schipano; his sister Carolyn Meliti; and his son-in-law Paul J. Hilston.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Hilston and Sam J. Schipano, Sr.; and his brother Anthony Schipano (Dorothy). He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
