He was predeceased by: his parents, Collins G. Vorst and Helen Van Vorst (Powell). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hagadorn; his children, Timothy J. Van Vorst (Sarah) of Saratoga Lake, Thomas M. Van Vorst (Gina) of East Greenbush and Tracy A. Lapeyrouse (Leslie) of Watervliet; his grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley), Katlin (Justin), Lili and Jaime; his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Zoe, Jack, Autumn, Adalae and Maeve; his sister Carol A Bennett of Troy; Willow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
