He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Heffern and Elizabeth Heffern (McGlynn); his mother-in-law Miss Mary Fargnoli; his sister-in-law Palma Thompson (Fargnoli); and his grandson Michael Lazzaro.
He is survived by : his wife Marie Heffern (Fargnoli); his children, Peter Heffern (Beth), John Heffern (Stacey Lazzaro), Michele Heffern (Shelly) and William Heffern, Jr. (Karrie Diacetis); his grandchildren, Peter Heffern (Morgan McKeever), Melissa Heffern (Eric Gordon), Cayla Sullivan (Jesse), Devin Lazzaro, Emma Heffern, Brody Heffern, Grayson Heffern, Dominick Heffern, Isabella Heffern and Teigin LeGault; his granddaughter-in-law Loren Lazzaro; his great grandchildren, Pike Lazzaro and Presley Lazzaro; and his siblings, Edward Heffern (Judy), T. J. Heffern (Peg) and Jack Heffern (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
