He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Theodore Haupt and Marion Ryan Haupt; and his wife Betty Roy Haupt. He is survived by: his close friend Elizabeth Scriven; his children, Joann Scott (Michael) of Connecticut, Tracey Korkemaz (Joe) of Watervliet, William Haupt, Jr. (Kelly) of Snyders Lake and Wayne Haupt (Christine) of Colonie; his daughter-in-law Christine Haupt of Watervliet; his grandchildren, Brittany Haupt (Joe) and Wayne Haupt (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Avery, Cora, Blaire and Natalie; his siblings, Joan Haupt Miller (Chet Oliver, Jr.) and Marion Hartman (late Marty); and his nephew Scott Hartman.
