He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas (Lillian) of DuBois, PA and Susan Dobson (Wayne) of Douglassville, PA; his stepbrother Charles Bates of Venice, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Marjorie of Lemont, PA, Nathan of North Yarmouth, ME, Peter of Hopkinton, MA, Sally of Longmont, CO, Holley Barnes of Bernville, PA, Corrie Mast of Oley, PA and Bridget Butler of Reading, PA. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home (212 E 4th St, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Burdett Presbyterian Church (3995 Church St, Burdett, NY 14818). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Hector Union Cemetery (4359 NY-79, Burdett, NY 14818).
