He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Washburn (Sherman) and Elmer Washburn; and his siblings, Rosie Corey, Bobby Washburn, Kenneth Washburn, Ginger Washburn, Bessie Eck (Washburn), Donald Washburn, Edward and Georgia.

He is survived by: his children, Deb Cross (Buddy) of South Carolina, Kathy Armstrong (Jim) of Rochester, Barb Rossi (Frank) of Trumansburg, Rob Washburn (Nancy) of Colorado, Amy Becker (Stacey) of Ithaca and Myrna Prince; his grandchildren, Michelle Cross, Emily Mydlowski (Armstrong), Stephanie Thoman (Cross), Danielle Rossi, Megan Scheffer (Armstrong), Michael Armstrong, Nicole Rossi, Tucker Rossi and Sam Becker; his sister Agnes Darling; Kendra, Kip, Owen and Maren Seavers. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and his youngest.
