With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nina Comfort Miller (Waverly, New York), born in Elmira, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, AyerieJr Comfort and Helen Spencer Comfort; her husband Bill Miller; her son William Leff, Jr.; and her sister Patricia Rankin.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gerry (MaryJane Austin) and Duane (Paula Comfort); her children, Tammy Barton (Leff), Crystal Leff (Mills), Scott Leff, Rimon, Sherri Armaly (Stout) and Treena Miller (Vanderpool); her grandchildren, JD, Alicia Barton (Oaks), James, Andrea Gleason (Barton), Mark, Megan Freisleben (Leff), Will Leff, Kayla Babicki, Ryan, Desiree Wilkinson (Leff), Jeff, Kate Cobb (Leff), Blaine, Taylor Johnson-White (Leff), Tyson, Nicole Goolsby (Donker), Israel, Yedideyah, Benjamin Armaly, Sadie Miller, Michael Bonhamer and Brooklyn Miller; and her children, Allen, Yvonne Castle (Stout) and Stacey Ostrander (Leff). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
