He is survived by: his wife Adele Stoughton Ayres of Waverly; his children, Rachel King (Scott) of Webster, Samuel Ayres of New York and Leo Ayres (Andrea Schneider) of Hershey, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Audrey, Marshall, Jackson, Emma and Natalie; his mother-in-law Gladys Stoughton; his sister-in-law Doreen Stoughton; his cousins, Pat, Meryl LaBella, Pabby and Linda LaBella; and his friends, Scott Jewell, Bill Rynone, Miles McNett, Bill Rolls, Wayne Volpe, Charlie Trudeau, Roger Bacorn, Deb Barner, Mark Joyce, Rich Capozzi, Ken Fake, Larry Evans, Gary Zenker, Greg Shaver and Shaw Lively. He is also survived by five nieces and two nephews; along with many friends.
