With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert C. Rhodes (Waverly, New York), born in Corning, New York, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rhodes and Arlene Barney Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Laura Hammond Rhodes of Painted Post; his sons, Jason Rhodes of Lindley, Mark Rhodes of Canisteo and Matthew Rhodes (Cassie) of Lindley; and his brother Jerry Rhodes. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and his nine great grandchildren.
