He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Ellers and Margaret McCloe Ellers; his wife Joyce Bostwick Ellers; and his siblings, Joseph, Raymond, Malcom, Graydon, Lana Wolcott and Yvonne Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Faith LaFritz of Barton, Ronald Ellers Jr. of Lowman, Anneida Egbert of Elmira, Ty Ellers of Hershey, PA and Melodie Ellers; and his siblings, Richard Ellers of Waverly and Martha Zepp of Elmira. He is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
