He was predeceased by: his parents, LD Lathrop and Iva Lathrop (Granger); his wife Darlene Lathrop; and his brothers, Thomas, Morse and Larry Lathrop.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Jr. Lathrop (Elizabeth) of Wayland, Michael Lathrop (Missy) of Punta Gorda, FL, Cheryl Galvez (Dante) of Windsor, CT and Adam Lathrop (Caitlyn Krol) of Endwell; his grandchildren, Damien, Madison, Emma and Greyson; his siblings, Norma Ronkette (Bruce) of Millsboro, DE, Frank Lathrop (Maria) of Mt. Morris, George Lathrop (Dianna) of Dansville, Wesley Lathrop (Karla) of Rush, Louisa Smith of Greece and Mary Ellen Smith (Ken) of LeRoy; and his sisters-in-law, Leanne Lathrop of Hanover, PA and Nancy Lathrop of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
