“Charlie was my brother-in law, married to my sister Beverly. Charlie was a great state trooper. I knew Charlie before he married my sister. He was always a serious man but fun to be around. He had a light side to him once you got to know him . He loved his dogs, hunting, trapping. The outdoors was his joy and nature had a way of capturing his dreams. He was known as a state policeman. Drop his name at Troup E and most everyone said we know him, never heard a bad word about him.”
