With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean R. Kimmel of Wayland, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Rauber and Olive Rauber (Schirmer); her husband Peter Kimmel; and her sister Rita Morsch. She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Kimmel-Frantz (Kerry) and Kay Simon (Richard) of Rochester; and her grandsons, Alexander, Andrew Frantz, Michael, Matthew and Marc Simon of Rochester. She is also survived by 2 great grand daughters and a niece and nephew.
