We announce the death of Giuseppe Maenza (Webster, New York), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 89. Giuseppe will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano and Francesca; his parents-in-law, Francesco and Giovanna Pavone; his sister Giuseppa; his brother-in-law Francesco Viavattene; his brother Cristofero Maenza; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Biuso, Roberto Manetta and Antonio Maugeri.
He is survived by: his wife Carmela; his children, Tano Maenza (Nancy) and Franca Haas (Jim); his grandchildren, Maria Maenza, Joseph Maenza (Ansley), James Haas (Christy), Emily Haas and Matthew Haas; his great grandchildren, Tatum Haas and James Haas; his sister Sandy Biuso; and his siblings-in-law, Lina Maenza, Michelina Manetta, Angelina Maugeri, Rosa Pavone and Giuseppe Pavone. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (1355 Hatch Rd, Webster, NY 14580).
