It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerry C. DeBalso of Webster, New York, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 6, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony "Sykie" DeBalso and Florence DeBalso (Picciano); his siblings, Michael (Melody DeBalso), Anthony DeBalso and Florence; and his brother-in-law Frank "Sharkie" Giufre.
He is survived by: his close friend Sonja Hluska; his children, John (Collene DeBalso), Steven DeBalso (Pamela Kincheloe-DeBalso) and Carolyn (Tim Maciag); the mother of his children Barbara DeBalso (Shields); his sister-in-law Gail DeBalso (Davis); and his grandchildren, Lindsay (DeBalso), Chris Tacak, Jason, Claudia DeBalso (Falcone), Anthony DeBalso, Michael DeBalso, Jesse DeBalso, Cara Maciag, Caleb Maciag and Julia Maciag. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Agatha's Church (329 N Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032). A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Agatha's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, 5275 State Route 31, Verona, NY 13478, with envelopes available at the church.
