He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Nicosia and Joseph Nicosia; his grandson Joshua Nicosia; his in-laws, Eugene and Caberia Petrossi; and his half-brother Christopher Amatore.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Michelle Nicosia-Damico and Michael Nicosia Jr. (Kathy); his grandchildren, Michael Thomas Damico (Anna), Janessa Damico (Ian Harvey), Michael John Nicosia (Olivia) and Joseph Nicosia; his great grandchildren, Flora, Twyla, Calogero, Michael Joshua, Lydia, Waylon and Blair; his sister-in-law Jeanette Fina; his friends, Norm Asito and Anthony Musso; and his caregiver Samantha Sassone. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Falvo Funeral Home (1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd, Webster, NY 14580). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Jerome's Church (207 Garfield St, Rochester, NY 14611).
