He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonina Ruggieri and Stefano Ruggieri; his brother Anthony Ruggieri; his brother-in-law Nino Tosto; and his sister Rose Tosto.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Brooklynn; his siblings-in-law, Alan Purdy (Lorie), Jim Purdy (Laura), Sandra Weis (Ace) and Cheryl Bray (Glenn); his godchildren, Bradley Bray and Caitlynn Moulton (Cahal); his sibling's children, Steve Tosto (Sarah), Michael Purdy (Sara), Eric Purdy (Jess), Greg Purdy (Brittany), Brian Weis (Mary), Anna Klemenz (Kenny), Kendra Breen (Andrew), Jayme Fantauzzo (Jim), Courtney Purdy and Ashley Fakovic (Matt); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia, Maddie, Aiden, Steven, Zara, Ryleigh, Maxyn, Mason, Mikayla, Lincoln, Brighton, Elinor, Teagann, Carlie, Lucas and Dominic.
