He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; and his grandson Jason Hasenauer. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Hasenauer (Rita), Linda Best (David), Kevin Hasenauer and Karen Mikiciuk (Richard); his grandchildren, Daniel, Jeremy Hasenauer, Eric, Andrew Hasenauer-McQueen, Joshua (Alison), Patrick Best, Danielle Capizzi (Kyle Ryan) and Allison Mikiciuk; and his siblings, Peter, Edward Hasenauer, Theresa Thomas and Gertrude Canny. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity Church or Holy Trinity HOPE Ministry.
