He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his parents, Richard and Dorothy; and his sisters, Sally Driscoll (William) and Suzanne Swingly.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Kruger (Alan), Edward Swingly (Kelli), Thomas "Matt" Swingly (Nick Christodoulou), James "Jake" Swingly (Anne) and Eileen Bolt (Tarak); his grandchildren, Bradley, Trevor Smith, Aaron Kruger, Kathleen Powell (Max), Sarah Swingly, Evan, Kyle Swingly, Tommy, Emma, Alex, Eva and Addi Bolt; his great grandchildren, Bailey Smith, Charlotte and Ethan Powell; and his brothers, William "Bill" (Pat) and Garry "Gus" Swingly (Penny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home (12 South Ave, Webster, NY 14580). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (1460 Ridge Rd, Webster, NY 14580).
