It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert L. Abbott of Webster, New York, who passed away on November 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, Albert and Alice; and his brother David Abbott. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Abbott (Helene) and Debra Szalay (Zoltan, Jr.); his grandchildren, Josie, Robert, Ellie, Tommy Abbott, Michael, Deanna Fox and Alexis Szalay; and his sister Barbara Prosser. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

“Steve, Debra and family, Very sorry to hear of Mr. Abbott's passing. He was one of my scout leaders, and I have many, many fond memories. We had many laughs camping, especially on our canoe trip in the Adirondacks. I kept in touch with him through the years, either when he was running camp Cutler, and in later years at the St. Rita fish fry. He was a true gentleman with an awesome laugh. I will truly miss his company, my prayers go out to your entire family. Dave McCoy”
