She was predeceased by: her mother Viola Gubitz; her husband Donald; her father Edwin Gubitz; her brother Stephen Gubitz; and her sister-in-law Kathy Gubitz.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Russ Smathers; her children, Scott Wood, Mark Wood (Elizabeth) and Lori Chatterton (Thomas); her grandchildren, Christopher Wood (Victoria), Rebecca Lazzaro (Austin), Abigail Wood and Everleigh Chatterton; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Violet Wood and Bodie Lazzaro; her brother David Gubitz; and her sister-in-law Susan Steele Gubitz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home (12 South Ave, Webster, NY 14580). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
