He was predeceased by: his wives, Jean and Ida; the mothers of children, Ida and Jean; and his son Jim Kapsiak.
He is survived by: his son Dave Kapsiak; his stepdaughter Bonnie Bushart (Tom); and his daughters-in-law, Ruth, Nancy and Kass Kapsiak. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
