He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Bowers and Katherine McMahan Bowers (Drayton); his wife Helen O. Bowers; and his sisters, Carolyn Bowers and Jamesena "Jamie" Pagniez.
He is survived by: his son William J. Bowers (Theresa); his grandchildren, Olivia of Webster, NY and Max of Webster, NY; and his sister-in-law Elaine Oros of Cincinnatus, NY.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
