He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin A. Eggers and Mildred C. Eggers. He is survived by: his wife Deborah McLean; his children, Katie (Matt Comeau), Dan (Katie Brady) and Andy (Emily Coit); his stepdaughter Christine Quinn; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Callan Comeau of Brighton, Luke, Duncan, Clare Eggers of Sudbury, Mass., Russell, Helen Eggers of Chicago, Spencer and Sperry Quinn of Washington, D. C.; his former wife Martha Eggers (Chadwick); his nephews, Jeff (Krisha) and David Beilstein; his great-niece Avery Beilstein; and his siblings, Nancy and Rick.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home (12 South Ave, Webster, NY 14580). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Episcopal Church (1130 Webster Rd, Webster, NY 14580). A reception will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Bill can be directed to scholarships at Syracuse University, the Finger Lakes Land Trust, or a charity of your choice.
