He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Perez and Sophia Perez (Zesky); his daughter Emily Perez Porter; and his brother Anthony DeJohn. He is survived by: his wife Debra Campbell of Weedsport; his children, Veronica Thomas (Robert) of Weedsport, Daniel Perez (Tracey) of Cato, Russell Perez (Karen) of Baldwinsville, Lara Campbell (Timothy) of Apex and Darcie Green (Dennis) of Clay; the mother of his children Judy Nuhavun; and his stepchildren, Kimberly Campbell of N. Syracuse, Samantha Campbell and Thomas Campbell of Weedsport. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Matthew House, 43 Metcalf Dr., Auburn, NY 13021.

“I just learned of Manny’s passing, and I am very saddened by this news. I considered him a good friend. Manny was there for me and my husband Larry shortly before Larry died. That was 11 1/2 years ago. That was the last time I saw him. We shared many good times when our children were young. We have many cherished memories with our young families. You will be so missed.”
