He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Baran and Emily Piorun Baran; and his brothers, Paul and Thomas Baran. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Vinifsky Baran; his children, Heide Doty (Brian) of Auburn and Travis Baran (Cecilia Adams) of Virginia; his sister Linda Schmidt of Maryland; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Baran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plis Funeral Home, Inc. (220 State St, Auburn, NY 13021). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (6020 Lake Ave, Auburn, NY 13021).
