William Saroodis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Saroodis of Weedsport, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Saroodis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vassos Saroodis and Ida May Hamilton Saroodis; his son-in-law Lloyd Karratti; and his sisters, Beverly Clark and Marian Weeks.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Beach Saroodis; his children, Robin Lee Karratti, Scott Saroodis (Sheila) and Jimmy Saroodis (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Alex Karratti (Tim), Danny Karratti (Jenni), Nick Karratti (Stephani), Alicia Kell (Michael), Heather Kreydatus (Russ), Erica Saroodis (Richard), Brett Saroodis and Brittany Saroodis. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Weedsport First Presbyterian Church (8871 S Seneca St, Weedsport, NY 13166). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to Weedsport First Presbyterian Church or the Weedsport Fire Department.
