It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Walters (Wells, New York), born in Gloversville, New York, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Walters and Martha Buyce Walters; his daughter Lisa Ann; his brother Ronald; and his sister-in-law Joan Walters.

He is survived by : his wife Deborah Petro Walters; his sons, Jeffrey Walters (Theresa) of Gloversville and Mark Walters of Austin, TX; the mother of his children Sandra Roy Hoagboon of Johnstown; his brother George Walters of Amsterdam; his grandchildren, Jessica Frye (Randy) and Joseph Walters; and his great grandchildren, Aleia, Donnavyn, Carrie-Ann Walters, David and Lacey Frye. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wells Volunteer Ambulance Corps, in care of the funeral home.
