It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melody Lee Freeman (Wellsburg, New York), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy H. Peckens and Vivian M. Peckens (Wilson); her brother Richard Weakland; her mother-in-law Patricia Freeman; and her niece Tara Bellgraph.
She is survived by: her husband Gregory J. Freeman; her children, Richard (Melisia Kintz), Allan (Jennifer Kintz), Jennifer Freeman (Dom) and Jeffrey Freeman; her grandchildren, Justin Kintz and Madison Gordon; her siblings, Daniel Weakland, Wendy Kawczenski (Leo), Peter, Janet Peckens and Cindy Weakland; and her father-in-law Eugene Freeman (Pat Welch). She is also survived by nieces and friends.
