Fred Newman wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Jerry, We were both so sad to hear of June’s passing. She was a model of the loyal and generous Trustee/Alumna—and you were the perfect spouse. We and our family shared the rewards of the loyalty and wisdom you and June gave to Calhoun. Please know that we share in your grief and hope for peace in the future. Mary and Fred Newman”
