He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Welsh (Chiaffi) and Thomas Welsh; and his in-laws, Deborah Matone Welsh (Thomas), Mark Francke (Patricia) and Susan Salerno Welsh (Vincent).
He is survived by: his wife Amy Dewe-Mathews; his siblings, Thomas Welsh (Holly), Gary Welsh (Joanne), Louis Welsh (Janet), Vincent Welsh, Paul Welsh (Lisa), Patricia Francke and Enis Giannone (Thomas); his pet Wolfgang; and his parents-in-law, Joann and Paul Dewe-Mathews of Naples Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
