We announce the death of Cheryl M. Barraco (West Henrietta, New York), who passed away on September 1, 2026. Cheryl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Cheryl will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Cheryl will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Cheryl’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Whisker and Betty Whisker; and her brother Michael Whisker. She is survived by: her husband Ted Barraco; her daughter Stephanie Lotta (Anthony); her grandchildren, Addison and Gianna Lotta; and her sister Sharon Schaller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson (1075 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 599 Brooks Rd, West Henrietta, NY 14586.
