Helen I. Rowe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen I. Rowe of West Henrietta, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen I. Rowe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her son Alan Rowe; her siblings, Joanne Ringquist, Gordon Van Gelder (Skip) and Janet Van Gelder; and her parents, Gordon Van Gelder and Irene Maxon.
She is survived by: her son Mark (Leslie); her daughter-in-law Cheryl (Alan); her grandchildren, Greg (Kristin), Kelly Rowe, Julia Rowe of Brookline, MA, Emma Rowe of Brookline, MA and Brendan Rowe of Fairport, NY; her great grandchildren, Hannah Rowe, Ember Rowe and Natalie Rowe; and her half-sisters, Andrea Stone, Linda Stone and Karen Steamer (Richard). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. (59 Monroe St, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pet Pride of New York, Cat Sanctuary and Adoption Center (7731 Victor Mendon Rd, Victor, NY 14564).
