She was predeceased by : her parents, Sam Barban and Minnie Magsitza. She is survived by : her husband David Gurwitz; her children, Deborah Schachter of Hurley and Daniel "Baruch" Gurwitz (Jill Pelavin) of Boston, MA.; her grandsons, Sam and Eli Schachter; and her friend Brandi Williams.
