We announce the death of Richard A. Janson of West Islip, New York, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 91. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Suzanne Janson; his children, Kristine Janson McGoldrick and Gregory Janson (Kate); and his grandchildren, P. J., Matthew, Drew, Hayes and Claire.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (21 James St, Babylon, NY 11702).
