With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Patricia Thornton of West Leyden, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Ernest R. Thornton; her parents, Ervin Jacob and Bertha Rimiller (Kent); and her siblings, William, Johnny and Elinor.

She is survived by : her children, Diana Trainor (Carl) of Boonville, Mark Thornton (Amy) of Boonville, Brenda Carpenter (Evan), Karen Racey (Marty), Virginia, Guy and Scott Sessions; her grandchildren, Brian, David, Matthew, Ashley, Mike, Chris, Gabe, Joshua, Daniel, Jason, Garett, Sara and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Leyla, Aria, Tristan, Alexandria, Josiah, Kyle, Gavin, Nathaniel, Evelyn, Ava, Eli, Ethan, Rachel, Cora, Isiah, Rhoswen, Jackson, Brandon and Noah; and her sister-in-law Vilda Helmer of Boonville.
