We are sad to announce that, on February 14, 2026, at the age of 85, Joan Burke of West Monroe, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Welch and Gertrude Baker Welch; her sons, Stephen Burke and Jeffrey Burke; and her siblings, Clifford Welch, Janet Welch and Linda Welch.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Savino (Pete); and her brother Richard Welch (Dorothy). She is also survived by three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
