He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Morey; his parents, Raymond Morey and Dorothy Morey; his siblings, Verda Loren (Joe), Myrle Morey (Charlotte), Christine Flower (Bud), Clayton Morey (Jenny), Kenneth Morey (Chick) and Herman Morey (Mary); and his in-laws, Eddie House (Barb), Linda Springer (Gary) and Tom Owen.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Gladle (Bernard), Douglas Morey, Mark Morey (Amy), Patricia Schumaker (Brian) and Karen Ackley (James); his brother Dale Morey (Sue); and his brother-in-law Donald House (Fran). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
