She is survived by: her brother Richard Hand; her sister-in-law Justine Hand; her nieces and nephews, Taylor Hand and Emily Hand; her husband Lawrence Light; her children, Christopher Muro, Joseph Muro, Nicholas Light (Gianna) and Gabrielle Light; her sister-in-law Sheri Hand; and her nieces and nephews, Kelsie Hand and Cameron Hand (Caitlyn). She is also survived by her family, friends, caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gena's memory to Venture Together, an organization that was such an important part of her life and whose staff and residents became her extended family.
