He was predeceased by : his parents, Curtis Haines and Elsie Haines (Wilkens); and his close friend Raymond W. DeMeola. He is survived by : his wife Doreen; his siblings, Curtis (Mary), George Haines (Kelly), Judey Thibert and Bettee Custer; his niece Kate Johnston of Bryn Mawr; his nephew Douglas Johnston (Megan) of New City; his great-nephew Aidan Johnston; and his great-niece Emma Johnston. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
