He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathleen Devine; his daughter-in-law Deirdre Noonan; his parents, James Noonan and Teresa Noonan; and his siblings, Sean, Seamus, Liam, Teresa and Rita.
He is survived by: his sister Patty (Kilmore); his children, Michael and Marian; his son-in-law John Thielsen (Deirdre); and his grandchildren, Declan and Brandon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Interment to follow the mass at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Micheál's name to The Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org.
