With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger C. Gong of West Nyack, New York, born in Canton, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roger left this world on December 8, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roger may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lilian L. Mah. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth of Basking Ridge, NJ, Daniel and Kim of West Nyack, NY; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Shane and Kaila. He is also survived by many nieces/nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954).
