We bid farewell to Joan A. Cooke of West Sand Lake, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2026 at the age of 87. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl J. Alger and Alice Pierce Alger; her husband Ronald J. Cooke; and her sister Cecilia Taber. She is survived by: her children, William E. Cooke (Marion Wolfe) of Sand Lake, Colleen T. Caulfield (Tom Bonesteel) of Ormond Beach, Fla, Timothy J. Cooke Sr. (Kim Haberland) of Eagle Bridge, Christopher J. Cooke Sr. (Val) of Mechanicville, Linda C. Cooke and Deirdre A. Cooke of Raymertown; and her sisters, Mary Bailey (Robert) of Schenectady and Patricia Oddy of Castleton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
