He is survived by: his children, Michael P. Smith, Sharon A. Vinett (John), Madonna M. Crane (Kevin), Thomas A. Smith (Ma-Biquan) and Gregory J. Smith (Patricia); his grandchildren, Dennis Vinett (Casey), Colleen Thoreson (Benjamin), Vincent Crane (Abbey), Katie Hamlin (Alexis), Maria Crane, Megan Smith, Quinn Smith, Lauren Smith (Francesco Todde) and Andrea Smith; his great grandchildren, Ruthie Vinett, Jack Vinett, Christopher Thoreson and Camden Thoreson; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Fridmann (David) and Ann McMahon.
