We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Daniel J. Block of West Seneca, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Daniel leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Daniel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen M. Mahoney; his parents, Thomas Block and Charlotte Block; and his siblings, Barbara Kossowski and Thomas Block.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Block; and his children, Daniel J. Block, Jr., Catherine A. Block-Blaser (David P. Balser) and Roger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church (3148 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Buffalo or Erie County SPCA.
