He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Coia; his parents, Anthony Coia and Hazel Coia; and his brothers, Anthony Coia and Richard Coia.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Coia, Karen Williams, Barbara Odrobina (late Peter) and Jeffery Coia (Alicia); his grandchildren, Mark Coia (Sarah), Nicole Polino (Daniel), Mandy Partridge (Timothy), Mindy Kohl (Kevin), Collin Coia and Morgan Coia; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Macie and Charlotte; and his sister Dolores Tronolone (late Daniel). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
